Recipe: Spiced Bread

In a saucepan, heat the milk, butter, sugar, honey, and Gérald Passedat Spiced Bread Mix.
Cover and let infuse for 15 minutes.
Pour the mixture over the beaten eggs and finely blended candied oranges.
Add the flours, baking soda, and fleur de sel, mixing until combined.
Preheat the oven to 170°C (340°F).
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and fill it three-quarters full with the batter.
Bake for about one hour. Check doneness by inserting a knife blade; it should come out clean.
After baking, optionally glaze the top of the spiced bread with honey for a glossy finish.
