Laguiole Knifes for GPassedat
Succumb to the elegant and extremely functional knife designed by Christian Ghion, who found inspiration in the tapered line of the sturgeon for the blade, the slender fuselage of the shell and the strength of an underwater fishing knife.
This beautiful knife serves a precise purpose: to detach and separate the particularly delicate flesh of fish as if you were cutting meat. With its bolster-less handle and fluid blade, this knife is extremely functional.
The width of the “flank” is 5 mm more than that of a standard Laguiole knife to allow the blade to be used as a spatula. The knife, including the handle and blade, measures 23.5 cm – longer than normal to make it easier to handle. At the top of the blunt side of the knife, a small hole recalls the pupil of the fish.
